Dear colleagues and friends,
On behalf of the Hellenic Division of the International Academy of Pathology, I am delighted to invite you to the XXVIIth Congress of the International Academy of Pathology to be held in Athens, Hellas, from October 12 to 17, 2008.
Sessions will take place in the Conference Centre, Megaron, the Athens Concert Hall, near the historical center of the city, which is connected to the subway station and within a walking distance of several hotels, museums and shopping centers.
The Organizing Committee is preparing an interesting and informative scientific program, intending to gather an international faculty of experts in several fields of Pathology.
Hellas, the birthplace of Hippocrates, founder of modern Medicine, enjoys a favorable geographic and historical
position as a major cultural and tourist destination. Athens, a fully renovated capital city after the Olympic Games
of 2004, offers a pleasant atmosphere for a successful scientific congregation. October is sunny and a very enjoyable
time of the year. A number of social events and tours for many interesting destinations will be organized. The
3.000-year Hellenic antiquity and the beauty of Aegean islands promise a relaxing and unforgettable stay.
We are looking forward to receiving your scientific contribution and welcome you in Athens in October 2008.
